FRENCH TOAST

The French toast is made of Slices Brioche breads are soaked in a mixture of beaten eggs, milk or cream . Sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla are variously added to the mixture. The bread is then fried in butter  until browned and cooked through.

Ingredients

  • Sweet French Brioche bread................. 4 thick slice
  • Egg...................................................................2 no
  • Butter..............................................................2 tbsp
  • Cream.............................................................2 tbsp
  • Nutmeg..........................................................1/2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder......................................1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar................................................................1 tbsp
  • Milk...................................................................1/2 cup
  • Blueberry compote.....................................2 tbsp
  • Strawberry compote....................................2 tbsp
  • Mint spring......................................................2 no
  • Icing sugar......................................................for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl , combine egg,cream,milk,nutmeg and cinnamon. Well whisk it.
  2. Heat butter in a heavy skillet in over medium heat, then dip the Brioche bread in egg and milk mixture.Fry all the sides until golden brown.
  3. Served with blueberry compote,strawberry compote and cream and finishing with sugar dusting and mint sprig.
