It is summertime and what would normally be a typical summer appetizer salad, has now transformed into the healthy, delicious, and easy-to-make Feta Watermelon Basil Salad.

Just like all the other fresh basil recipes I have shared with you, Feta Watermelon Basil is delicious when mixed with cold or hot sauce.

A drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of fresh-grated parmesan cheese complete this fresh and tasty salad.


Easy to prepare Feta and watermelon salad with basil pesto

There are several versions of the classic watermelon and feta salad, but the basic ingredients are usually the same. Just add watermelon and gently toss in the veggie along with a little salt and pepper, and herbs you wish, and whatever seasonings you wish.


If you’re using fresh fruit, toss them in a bowl with oil and seasonings to coat them, then let them sit for about an hour or so. Serve this salad either as is or with a mild pesto sauce.
