Why Garlic, And Lemon, And Thyme Used For Garlic Grilled Prawns Have The Negative Side Effects.

In my recent article “Garlic, and Lemon, and Thyme For Garlic Grilled Prawns” I mentioned two of the most important herbs when it comes to grilling.

Garlic and lemon have been known to have positive benefits for your digestive system and immune system. However, in some recipes, garlic and lemon can cause some negative side effects.

One example of this is in the case of using fresh garlic in a recipe that calls for fresh Rosemary. As you know, Rosemary has been known to be very strong in its aroma, and when used with garlic can actually make the garlic smell much worse than it does when fresh.

LEMON GARLIC MARINATION PRAWNS

This is not to say that fresh garlic should be avoided. Fresh garlic is great for making thyme garlic grilled prawns and it’s what cooking is all about. However, there are many recipes that use lemon and garlic which contain Rosemary, yet do not include fresh garlic.

Why is this? Many chefs are unaware of the negative effects fresh garlic has on the digestive system and so often use it as a flavouring, or an ingredient, but not really give it any attention.

For added health benefits, you may consider using garlic thyme as an ingredient for another seafood recipe, and also grilled prawns. Garlic Thyme Grilled Salmon, pan-fried shrimps, for example, is perfect example of cooking with garlic.

As for the flavours of the shrimp, and prawns, you may consider using lemon, pepper, or other flavours to enhance the flavour. Other than that, you can always serve this with a little extra cream and enjoy a truly delectable meal.

If you are a seafood lover, you know how tasty and healthy grilled prawns can be. If not, you can get these as just another seafood delight.
