  • 2 tbsp of tamarind (seedless & unsalted)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 no whole red chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (if you are not using water)

  • Pick fresh cilantro with stem intact and rinse it in water to remove dirt to make the sauce.
  • It’s best to leave the stem on, as it contains many flavours and nutrients. Then, blend it with all ingredients, garlic, chillies, ginger, salt, tamarind, and little fresh mint leaves.
  • If you don’t have a food processor, you can use an immersion blender. You can also use your blender to blend the ingredients.
  • Then transfer it into a bowl add lemon juice. Check the seasoning if it needs to add some seasoning.

After blending the ingredients, you can taste them to see if they need additional salt. You can then drizzle the cilantro sauce on everything from tacos to fish. The cilantro sauce is a quick and easy way to add extra flavour to a dish. It is a fresh and flavorful condiment that can be used on various dishes, and it is best when it isn’t completely ground.
