Baked macaroni cheese pasta recipe


Baked macaroni cheese pasta, one of the lavish dishes of Italian cuisine. It is the easiest way to prepared of this recipe. Now a day, pasta has been a most popular dish for the any age of people. There are so many  types of pasta, you can find Italian cuisine, most popular pasta is Penne, Farfalle, Spaghetti, Fettucini, Macaroni, Tagliata like this and the most home made popular pasta are Gnocchi, Ravioli, Cannelloni, Lasagne, Tortellini. Almost you know the recipes of pasta and their sauce, one thing most popular sauce found in Italian cuisine like Napolitana, Arabiata, Cheese sauce, Pesto sauce, Alfredo sauce and carbonara sauce.


Macaroni pasta

Baked macaroni cheese pasta is a bake pasta recipe with a lot of cheese and cheese sauce/Bechamel sauce. Different types of cheese you can use like Cheddar, Mozzarella, Parmesan and four cheeses. It is classical and signature dish of the food world, I found this dish when I started my career and I could know about Italian cuisine and their food style from books and college professor. When I finished my college and started training in a hotel that time I cleared all the confusion about the dishes of pasta and Italian cuisine.

Baked macaroni cheese pasta also you can call macaroni cheese in the United kingdom, mac and cheese in America and Canada and, macaroni pie in the Caribbean country. It consists of cooked together macaroni and cheese, most commonly use cheddar cheese.

  • 320 gm Macaroni pasta
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Soft unsalted butter
  • 5 cup Full fat milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • A pinch Dried oregano
  • A pinch Grated nutmeg
  • Basil for garnishing


  1. In a large pot of salted water, lightly boil the macaroni for about 5 minutes until half-cooked. Strain it.

  2. Heat butter in a saucepan, add butter, stir until it becomes Roux. Boil the milk with studded onion (with cloves that hold on bay leaves) and make a sauce by adding Roux. Gently stir and finishing with salt. sugar and nutmeg powder.

  3. Heat olive oil in a high skillet pan, add macaroni toss with olive oil, then add salt and oregano herbs, stir it, pour cheese sauce on top of the pasta and mix it for a couple of minutes.

  4. Take out pasta from the pan into 4 divided serving bowl, sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of pasta and bake by salamander.

  5. Garnishing, fried basil leaves and served immediately with garlic bread.
